Mariam Nicole

Biography

Mariam Ouattara proudly serves as the Executive Director of the Chapter I Literacy Foundation, and acts as a board member for other local nonprofits in the Virginia area. Pursuing a future in medicine, Mariam became the first Ivorian woman to graduate with a bachelors degree in Neuroscience from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and shortly after received her second bachelor’s degree from Radford University graduating Summa cum laude. Passionate about service work and philanthropy, Mariam was selected as a Loudoun 40 under 40 honoree for 2023 as one of the top young leaders in Loudoun County. In her free time, Mariam enjoys sewing, fan dancing, reading books, and spending time with friends and family. She is thrilled to be the 2ème Dauphine for Miss Côte d’Ivoire USA 2023 and hopes to make a significant impact with her title.
