Who am I? I am Heaven Precilla Kore, a twenty year-old industrious, woman residing in Indianapolis, Indiana originally from Ivory Coast, West Africa. I am currently a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Purdue University’s prestigious School of Nursing. This year, I have been graced with the fortunate opportunity to represent Indiana in this year’s Miss Cote D’ivoire (Miss Ivory Coast) USA Pageant Competition.

I, Heaven Kore, am a young Ivorian woman instilled with a sense of duty to my nation, Cote D’ivoire (Ivory Coast). Ultimately, through this opportunity, I want to have impacted people’s life for good. I plan to use this platform to pursue my dreams of opening a chain of sanitary, high-tech clinics all throughout Ivory Coast, to prevent untimely deaths from diseases. Because I have lost an uncle, aunt, and grandfather to preventable illnesses, I will make it my goal to help save the lives of other one initiative at a time.  I will also use this platform to launch a beauty center that offers top, quality beauty products and services in our mother country. Tying my two life plans together, I want to make people feel beautiful, confident, and worth-living.

My platform is having a crown that is not necessarily seen but is always felt through empathy, integrity, humility, and most importantly, servitude. As your future Miss Côte D’ivoire USA, I plan to stand as the face of the young Ivorians who are dreamers just as I am. Ultimately, I aspire to instill a heightened sense a pride for our beautiful country in not only myself, but also within all Ivorians whom I come across or whom know of my name, Heaven Precilla Koré.
